Job Summary
Rapidly growing Golden Malted - is hiring a full-time Sales Manager in the Eastern Region!

Responsibilities


  • Ensure professionalism in the delivery of the Company's products
  • -Review and adjust sales route structure for the region to guarantee customers are properly serviced
  • Direct communication with the Sales Representatives as needed
  • Focus on quick, effective, and acceptable resolution of customer complaints
  • Perform reviews and ride alongs with Sales Representatives as needed to identify areas for improvement and initiate action plans
  • Monitor operational data including route compliance, auxiliary product sales, sales growth and present results to management
  • Conduct periodic update meetings with the sales team to coach and enhance productivity as well as compliance to Companyprocedures
  • Build quarterly sales plans by Sales Representative
  • Maintains the sales team by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees
  • Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans
  • Translate operational goals into budgets with specific financial targets
  • Assist with making sales calls and presentations to large accounts as needed
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 3 years business to business sales management experience
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • Sales or management experience in a route sales environment preferred
    • Knowledge of performance monitoring and trend analysis
    • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
    • Microsoft CRM experience a plus
    • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Must have a big picture focus in both departmental and company strategy
    • Ability to understand and work within a defined corporate process
    • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and professionally in accordance with departmental policies
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills -
    • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize assignments, and follow up with colleagues to ensure the completion of - -assigned tasks
    • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
    • Ability to pass a drug screen and DOT physical
