General Purpose: The Production Control Inventory Specialist performs physical Dematic counts at South Hackensack buildings by providing expertise to maintain a process regarding all transactions and team interaction as it pertains to Inventory Accuracy/Control.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Maintain documentation pertaining to inventory to ensure a full audit trail.
Creates Work Order Receipts and Process Material Issue utilizing SAP / WMS
Process receipts from Vendors to Replenish our assemblers' Inventory
Coordinate interdepartmental activity with warehouse, inspection, quality, operations, purchasing, engineering, logistics and program
Work cross functionally to expedite any material shortages with procurement, receiving, quality, and other production areas
Process Nonconformance Report (NCR's) in WMS and SAP
Investigate production control problems, analyze root causes, and derive solutions
Item maintenance - create new items / price updates / description modification / discontinued items
Performs product audits, labels for order discrepancies
Prepare for, conduct and assist in reconciliation of cycle counts in Dematic and other areas
Work with Procurement and external vendors to resolve part discrepancies
Control the proper consumption of material in the BOM (Bill of Materials)
Process Scrap and obsolete inventory from WIP locations as required.
Research of serialized items and reconciliation
Research packslip reports to make corrections and to upload into SAP
Perform monthly Inventory Tracker for external vendors
Point of contact for assembly's vendors as it pertains to Hydraulic tools
Monitor daily WO good receipts (Serials Variance HJE_SAP Report) upload issues for IT to correct
Work with Accounts Payable on Invoices' issues
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Education/Experience Required:
Associates or Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of Five years of Inventory management experience
Two years of purchasing experience
Extensive knowledge of manufacturing requirements and planning
Proficient with computerized materials control programs

Computer Skills Necessary: Microsoft Office, SAP, WMS and Dematic.

Physical Demands/Requirements:
Physical work (ability to lift 50 pounds)and routine audits in the warehouse
Must be available to travel to Vendor Sites/US facilities
Must possess good organizational skills, the ability to work well with others, good decision making skills, and the ability to think outside the box
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience using ERP system SAP B1 or similar
