Client company is currently offering an 18 to 24-month program that gives Rental Management Trainees proven knowledge, skills and resources to develop expertise and deliver best in class transportation solutions to their commercial customers.

This Rental Management Trainee position is designed to be completed in 18-24 months and provide incumbent with general Rental Management training, and specific training in Finance, Operations, Human Resources, and Sales & Marketing through assignments in operational and administrative tasks.

Trainees must have:

*** Experience in customer service and issue resolution.

*** Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.

*** Detail-oriented personality with a high degree of common sense and the aptitude to learn quickly.

Activities:

*** Handle inbound calls and outbound solicitation for sales.

*** Generate rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads.

*** Execute sales and marketing initiatives to meet overall market share goals.

*** Maintain current and accurate data within company marketing database.

*** Manage all rental asset processes, to include Vehicle preventative maintenance and cleanliness standards.

*** Reconcile all customer concerns, issues, and disputes to maintain ongoing relationships and grow current customer base.

*** On a voluntary basis or based on scheduling, perform the role of On-Call Representative.

After program completion, a successful trainee grad can choose to pursue a number of career paths including sales professional, location management, and beyond. Many senior leaders started their career journeys in this role. So if your goal is to go all the way to the top, this may just be the start of something great! The more you put into the program, the more you'll get out of it because they promote from within, based on performance. Starting pay for a trainee is $40-$50K base salary plus incentives.
