• Job Type: Full-Time
• Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Location: VIP Automotive Group of Long Island

  --- Employee recognition programsJob Responsibilities:The Automotive Accounts Receivable Clerk plays a key role in maintaining the accuracy of financial transactions. Responsibilities include:
  • Processing and verifying cash deposits
  • Reviewing, updating, and maintaining accounting schedules
  • Posting accounts receivable statements accurately and timely
  • Assisting with month-end reconciliations
  • Collaborating with the Controller on projects and tasks as neededOther responsibilities may be assigned based on business needs.Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have:
    • Up to 2 years of accounts receivable experience (automotive industry preferred)
    • Experience with journal entries, general ledgers, debits, and credits
    • Familiarity with accounting schedules and procedures
    • ADP/CDK experience is preferred
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
    • Professional appearance and a strong work ethic
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel experience preferred)
