Job Description:

PDS Tech is seeking a Co-Ex Assistant near Saddle Brook, NJ.Responsibilities:

• Work as a co-ex assistant, taking instructions from the operator and performing any combination of incidental tasks.
• Inspect work in process for conformance to quality standards advising operator of any deficiencies.
• Continuously clean machine, and surrounding work area. Help load, and feed raw materials into the machine.
• Load mandrels containing cores into machine.
• Maintain proper oil level in oil reservoirs. Operate jib cranes and fork trucks.
• Wear safety equipment and obey safety rules.
• Satisfy production requirements. May work in other areas throughout the plant. Fill out reports.
• Post daily production reports. And/or other duties as may be assigned. Run the machine when operator goes on break.
• Make sure scrap is weighed and recorded daily. Help clean floors. Help operators when needed. Bag bundles and stack. Take reclaim to and neatly stack in repro area.
• Help check product quality. Keep machine clean. Cut cores when running blanks. Cut cores when running blanks. Move finished product to designated areas. Learn operation of machine in spare time. Requirements:
  • Highschool diploma or GED required
  • Previous warehouse/manufacturing experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbsRetention Bonus:
