Job Description:

The Intern Business Transformation will be responsible for assisting Project Managers and Business Analysts in the Transformation division to review the effectiveness of internal business functions throughout Valley and support the evolution / improvement of these functions through analysis, requirement gathering, and solution design. Examples of transformation projects / initiatives that exist at Valley relate to technology implementations, re-organizations and new operating model deployments, and new product implementation and support models. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Partner with stakeholders to define critical project scope, objective, success criteria, etc.
• Facilitate and drive communication (ideas, concepts, facts) across departments.
• Elicit and confirm functional and non-functional business requirements Requirements Analysis, Design, Definition, and Management.
• Create Process Maps and/or Workflow Diagrams to clarify the as-is and desired future state. Facilitate Impact Analysis.
• Gather current state documentation.
• Help present solutions in a manner that bridges technical and strategic business perspectives.
• Identify and create a logical decision-making process related to business goals and strategies.
