The Perfusionist will work at a 650+ bed hospital, joining one of the most reputable hospital healthcare systems in New Jersey. Through the guidance and supervision of the surgeon and in accordance with the department's policy procedures and standards, the Perfusionist will safely conduct cardiopulmonary bypass and monitor anticoagulation, acid-base, hemodynamics, Cerebral Oximetry, hemodilution, and hemostasis. The Perfusionist will also review patient medical records to assess and determine appropriate judgement of the prime selection, additional fluid choices, drug usage during bypass and technique to use, and accurately document the patient's record, cardiac surgery database and billing forms through the computerized record system. The ideal Perfusionist will hold their Perfusionist license, ideally be certified in cardiovascular perfusion and offer the skills to provide services for geriatric and adult patients and ability to adjust equipment, supplies and techniques accordingly. The Perfusionist can easily commute to work from one of the many gorgeous suburbs of New York or New Jersey. The Perfusionist will be surrounded by delicious food and endless entertainment.
