Job Description:
WestRock, a leader in the global packaging industry, is seeking
a highly experienced and proactive Lead Corrugator Operator to
enhance our manufacturing operations in our state-of-the-art
facilities. This role focuses on optimizing the production of
corrugated board, a critical component in sustainable paper and
packaging solutions. The ideal candidate will oversee the
corrugator machine operations, maintain rigorous quality standards,
and lead a team of operators to ensure efficient production
workflows. By joining our team, you will play a crucial role in
supporting various sectors by enhancing brand efficacy and
improving customer experience through innovative packaging
solutions. Oversee daily operations of corrugator machines ensuring
optimal performance. Implement and monitor quality control measures
to meet and exceed customer specifications. Coordinate with
maintenance teams to ensure machinery is in high operational
condition. Train, lead, and evaluate a team of machine operators
and assistants. Collaborate with production planning and supply
chain to ensure timely order fulfillment. Conduct troubleshooting
and problem-solving to minimize downtime. Uphold safety standards
and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Strong
leadership and team management skills. Deep understanding of
corrugated board manufacturing processes. Proficiency in operating
and troubleshooting corrugator machines. Excellent problem-solving
abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
