Job Description:
SourcePro Search is seeking a Bankruptcy Paralegal to join a
team in NYC. This position involves in-depth legal document
analysis, drafting, and intensive reading. Candidates should be
meticulous, motivated, and eager to learn about asbestos bankruptcy
trust companies. What You'll Do: Summarize depositions and conduct
thorough document reviews. Draft affidavits and letters with
precision. Review death certificates, estate documents, and
pathology reports for accuracy. Analyze expert reports and x-rays
for asbestos-related disease diagnoses. Submit and manage claims,
curing deficiencies as needed. Communicate with Trusts daily and
execute audit requests within deadlines. Maintain confidentiality
of personal information and manage shifting priorities effectively.
What You'll Bring: B.A. in Legal Studies, Political Science, or
related experience preferred. Exceptional verbal and written
communication skills. Strong attention to detail and excellent time
management. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Adobe, Word, Excel).
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Affinity
for reading and the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic
