Job Description Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY)
has an opportunity to support Correctional Health Services, which
is part of NYC Health Hospitals, the largest public health system
in the United States. This opportunity will support the staffing
needs at Rikers Island, New York's largest correctional facility.
Objectives of this role Work closely with managers to gain a
comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for every
role and to meet competitive hiring goals and expectations. Manage
the full recruiting across a variety of open roles, helping
managers find, hire, and retain quality candidates. Foster
high-touch relationships using a database of qualified candidates
to choose from when positions become open. Partner with recruiting
team and senior managers to design, refine, and implement
innovative recruitment strategies. Remain active with job boards,
social networks, and platforms for finding quality candidates, and
create and post job descriptions and announcements. Supports
high-volume recruitment efforts, including resume review, candidate
pre-screening and interview coordination. Posts, maintains and
updates job openings in the Human Capital Management (HCM) system
and external job boards, including compensation, qualifications and
position details, in accordance with Central Office HR guidelines.
Identifies and screens qualified candidates from the Paycom careers
page, external job boards, community outreach and college
partnerships to ensure candidates meet minimum education,
experience, licensure and certification requirements. Presents
qualified applicants to hiring managers via email system.
Responsibilities Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and
evaluating job candidates. Determines applicant requirements by
studying job description and job qualifications. Determines
applicant qualifications by screening applicants resume, analyzing
responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to
job requirements. Develop relationships with managers to build
awareness of their departments, hiring needs, and job
specifications Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and
execute innovative strategies to find quality candidates and
prospect for new business Screen resumes and CVs and manage job
candidates throughout hiring process Providing recruitment reports
to team managers. Post vacancies on recruitment platforms and
career boards Establish and maintain a solid working relationship
with schools, colleges, universities and residency/fellowship
programs for assigned areas of responsibility. Posting jobs and
organizing resumes and job applications on career board and
recruitment inbox. Manage email campaigns, job fairs (both internal
and external), open houses, employee referral programs and other
special events. Pro-actively recruits both active and passive
candidates May perform other duties, as assigned. Recruiter
Qualifications/ Skills Recruiting and interviewing skills Phone,
Zoom, and online meeting platform skills Supports workplace
diversity Familiarity with relevant employment Law Professionalism,
organization, and project management skills Strong analytical
skills, with the ability to manage large amounts of data and
present summaries and reports. Microsoft Office applications,
including Excel, Word and Outlook. Associate's Degree in Human
Resources, Organizational Development or similar, preferred.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a recruitment capacity
(health-care recruitment experience preferred. Proven skills in the
evaluation of candidates. Excellent judgement skills. Proficient
use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and
Excel) required. High attention to detail. Ability to maintain high
standards despite pressing deadlines. Ability to work well under
pressure, adapt to unexpected events, prioritize and multi-task in
