Job Description:

As a Charter Bus Driver at Coach USA, you will be integral to our mission of providing safe, enjoyable, and cost-effective travel for our passengers. You are responsible for operating our high-end charter buses on various routes that include sightseeing tours, school field trips, corporate charters, and special events. Safely operate buses over designated routes adhering to predetermined schedules and routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure proper operating conditions, compliance with safety standards, and passenger comfort. Assist passengers with boarding and debarking, handling luggage, and providing information regarding schedules and routes. Communicate effectively with passengers and respond to their needs and concerns as necessary. Comply with all traffic regulations, company policies, and federal/state/municipal laws. Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle both inside and out ensuring safety and comfort for all passengers. Manage fare collection, ticket validation, and provide receipts as required. Record and report any incidents or maintenance issues to the management. Strong driving skills and familiarity with GPS devices and route management tools Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle emergencies and stressful situations Knowledge of first aid and CPR (preferred) Paid vacation Safety bonus Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements Clean driving record Up-to-date medical certificate
