Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / CVOR – New Jersey Start Date: February 23, 2026 Location: Newark, New Jersey Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), 13-week assignment Highlights: Work in a nationally recognized, 665-bed quaternary teaching hospital affiliated with a leading medical school Specialize in high-acuity cardiovascular cases including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, aortic and vascular surgeries Utilize state-of-the-art hybrid OR technology and EPIC charting system Join one of the nation's largest and most established heart transplant centers On-call requirement: 24-hour weekend call (one weekend per month) plus two 8-hour weekday call shifts Holiday requirement: Must work 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays per unit needs Requirements: Active New Jersey or Compact state RN license required at time of submission Minimum 2.5 years of CVOR experience required Current BLS certification EPIC charting experience required Demonstrated expertise in cardiovascular procedures: valve replacement, CABG, TAVR, aortic aneurysm repair, dissections, VATs Hybrid room and vascular experience required: endovascular AAA, carotid endarterectomy, arteriogram, angiogram, TCAR, AV fistula, femoral popliteal bypass graft Willingness to float to Main OR for orthopedic, general, laparoscopic, GYN, robotic, neuro, vascular, and pediatric cases First-time travelers and local candidates accepted Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work alongside highly specialized multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment known for clinical excellence and innovation.
