Internal Medicine - Physician at Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University - Temple Health summary: The position is for a full-time faculty member in General Internal Medicine at Temple University's Lewis Katz School of Medicine, focusing on comprehensive outpatient care, medical education, and clinical research. The Department of Medicine, Section of General Internal Medicine at Temple University’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine is seeking qualified Internal Medicine trained applicants for a full time General Internal Medicine (GIM) faculty position. Why Temple? • Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to our patients in outpatient primary care settings, while teaching the fundamentals of general internal medicine to the healthcare providers of the future. • 17 full-time faculty members whose interests include medical education, obesity, hypertension, HIV and Hepatitis C, integrative medicine, social determinants of health, trauma-informed care, medication-assisted therapies, palliative care and geriatrics. • Supportive environment with faculty involved in numerous innovative educational and research programs in areas such as clinical skills training, physician-patient communications, ambulatory medical education and clinical trials. • Highlights include: providing outpatient HIV primary care, ambulatory addiction medicine, inpatient addiction medicine consults, along with the precepting of internal medicine residents.
