Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:Radiology Technologist - Discipline:Allied Health Professional - Duration:13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift:8 hours, days - Employment Type:Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Radiology Technologist for a contract assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Morristown, NJ. Job Function: - Day Shift. - 4x10. - Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain images as requested by the physician. - Set up, operate, and maintain imaging equipment according to policy and procedure. - Explain procedures clearly and compassionately to patients. - Maintain all equipment for procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort, both physical and physiological. - Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff by following radiation protection protocols. - Job Requirements: - Graduate of an accredited radiology program. - ARRT certified. - BLS certification from the American Heart Association. - 3 - 5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.
