Who You Are: Kind, Compassionate, Service Minded, & Excellence Driven What You Will Do: You will function primarily as a Fulltime Interim Director of Nursing and/or advisor, in any Connecticut center owned and operated by NHCA, with a typical assignment length of 3 months. When you're not acting as a Director of Nursing, you're working with the regional clinical consulting team on special projects e.g. implementing new care delivery models, clinical programming. You may sometimes be asked to take part in the regional Mock Survey Team. Candidates must reside in the state of CT or near the CT state border and possess a current CT RN License in good standing. On assignment, specific duties may include all or some of the following: Direct the coordination of all nursing services Act as liaison between the Administrator and nursing services administration Review inspection reports with the Administrator retrospectively to institute a plan of correction as required. Assist Administrator with ongoing updating and review of nursing policies and procedures to assure continued quality of care Maintain professional contacts within the local community. Represent the facility to residents and their families. Ensure that nursing requirements for licensure and accreditation are maintained.
