Director of Quality AssuranceJoin our prestigious technology company in Clifton, New Jersey as the Director of Quality Assurance where you will spearhead quality initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites within our Electronic Warfare Division. This role focuses on enhancing product and process integrity leading to heightened customer satisfaction and mission success. Expect to lead a team of over 40 quality professionals in a dynamic environment that supports strategic goals through detailed attention to compliance, innovation, and operational excellence.Salary: $185,000 to $225,000 per yearEssential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of Quality Engineering and Inspection functions spanning quality planning, compliance, monitoring, validation across hardware, software, and inspection.
• Strategize and implement Quality initiatives ensuring alignment with corporate procedures, government standards, directives, and commercial methodologies.
• Enhance a company-wide quality culture focused on defect prevention and detailed process adherence.
• Interface and strategically collaborate with program leadership, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to align product life cycle with quality standards.
• Facilitate seamless interactions among manufacturing engineering, operations, and design engineering to support product transitioning from planning to production phase.
• Oversee the maintenance of comprehensive quality records, ensuring documentation supports both internal analyses and customer requirements.
• Drive improvements in organizational efficiency through leadership development, tailored training, and defined process improvements.
• Analyze key quality metrics to develop zero defect plans, optimizing production yields and minimizing reworks.
• Maintain up-to-date certification and compliance with industry standards such as AS9100 and CMMI.Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Software Engineering, or a related technical field with at least 12 years of industry experience, or a Graduate degree with 10 years of experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in Quality management or operational leadership roles.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, facilitate discussions, and guide teams to achieve quality objectives.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on team motivation and timely deliverables.
  • Demonstrated capacity for collaboration across various functional areas to achieve business targets.Preferred Qualifications:
    • Advanced knowledge in quality and reliability methods applicable to the aerospace or electronic industry sectors.
    • Greenbelt or Blackbelt certifications; project leadership and implementation experience.
    • Proficiency with Configuration Control management practices.
    • Skilled in using software such as Agile Oracle, Windchill, Cincom, and DOORS.
    • Experience with J-STD and IPC standards, with ASQ certification highly regarded.
    • Willingness to travel up to 20% and eligibility for obtaining a DoD TS security clearance.Benefits:
