Job Description:
Essential Job Functions: Supervisor the daily work functions of
the Order Management Team to ensure all customers orders are being
supported from entry to invoicing. Support Order Management Team
resolve customer concerns and escalate as need to Demand Manager.
Benchmark existing departmental KPIS and processes and
developed/implement improvements for the team. Created and Maintain
Communication with Cross Functional teams not limited to Supply
Chain teams as well as Accounting, Regulatory and Commercial Teams.
Maintain and build open communication with Customers to support
concerns and resolve issues effectively, efficiently and in the
interests of both the customer and Takasago. Maintain and build
open communication with Commercial Team to support customer
requests or concerns. Build relationships with Regional and Global
Order Management Affiliates to support Affiliate Orders. Support
Demand Manager to ensure the Order Management Team is entering
orders within 24 hours of receiving the Customers demand,
accurately and following order entry processes. SME (Subject Matter
Experts) for each customer in regard to understanding specific
customer requirements as it relates to supporting their demand.
(ex. delivery specifications, packing requirements, QC
requirements) Resolve product or service complications by
clarifying the situation, researching the problem and presenting
solutions, as well as process changes to limit future issues. Issue
Credits following SAP procedures with information provide by Order
Management Representatives with authorizations. Issue all Invoices
to customers based on orders shipped. Keep open communication with
Demand Manager Demand, Demand Planners and Production Planners on
Customers Changes as well as demand changes in orders. Communicate
to specific departments as needed on order specific questions (ex.
Production Planning, Shipping and Traffic) Support and maintain
open lines of communication between all Supply Chain Functions Act
as acting manager in absence of Demand Manager and support the
department as needed. Special Projects and Business Needs
Qualifications: Associates Business/Communications or related
degree preferred. 5 years' experience Customer Service/Order
Management in Business to Business industry, and 1 year plus of
experience in Supervisory role preferred. Fragrance/Flavor Industry
Preferred.
