services. We are currently seeking an experienced Director of
Outpatient Services responsible for daily clinical services and
operations for the Child & Family and Adult outpatient services,
general outpatient counseling, Healthy Transitions, substance abuse
services, and clinical groups.Provide the tools, support, and
leadership for the outpatient teams to deliver the highest quality
of clinical services and ensure all operational and clinical
outcomes are achieved. Build a positive and professional work

core values. JOB SUMMARY: The project Director is responsible for
ensuring that our consumers relate to the services that they need
and for collaborating with staff across the agency and with
external agency partners. The Program Coordinator will assess the
consumer's needs in the preliminary screening process and assign
them to the appropriate counselor. The program Coordinator will
ensure consumers are connecting with both internal and external
providers. Facilitate internal and external collaboration to
develop a person-centered treatment plan. Provide staff with
education andsupervision while conducting treatment team meetings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrates knowledge of Division of Mental Health & Addiction
Services (DMHAS) regulations and
- Division of Development Disabilities (DDD) regulations and
circulars.
- Ensures SERV compliance with DMHAS and DDD regulations and
circulars regarding training.
- Ensures compliance with state and federal requirements around
the use of physical crisis intervention.
- Be following employment laws under Title VII
- Completes process(es) to become certified as an instructor in
agency-approved crisis prevention/intervention model(s).
- Provides staff training in crisis prevention/ intervention
during orientation, annual refreshers, drills/rehearsals, team
meetings as needed, and as ongoing reinforcement of training during
a new hire's first year of employment.
- Identifies crisis training needs of the direct care staff in
coordination with the Regional Director and Director of
Training.
- Collaborates with SERV management, the Quality and Compliance
Department, and the Director of Training.
- Receives training in the areas of DDD Shifting Expectations,
Preventing Abuse & Neglect, and Medication.
- Incorporates specialized training/expertise around
trauma-informed care and wellness & recovery into crisis
intervention/prevention.
- Ensures approved holding techniques are used when holding is
necessary.
- Coordinates analysis of holding trend data.
- Participates in crisis debrief meetings, Behavior Supports
Committee, and Human Rights Committee as requested.
- Role models appropriate boundaries and professional
behavior.
- Participates in local and centralized SBHS committees or
external committees as needed.
- Involved in interviewing/assessing new staff.
- Effective verbal communication; shares information and ideas;
provide feedback.
- Continually accepts and reaches for responsibility.
- Regularly performs related duties to enhance the functioning of
the department or organization's needs. EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL
& ABILITY:
- Master's Degree in the behavioral health field, preferred
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the provision of direct
care services in a behavioral healthcare setting is required.
- Experience in the provision of training preferred. LCADC or
CADC preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid
driver's license in the state of residence plus three-year driving
history and a driving record in good standing at the time of
hire.
- The employee must be at least 21 years of age and complete all
agency orientations.
- Must demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative in dealing with
daily responsibilities.
- Demonstrated professional public speaking ability, at ease in
front of large groups. Ability to work with various departments and
foster teamwork.
- Knowledge of SERV BHS, Inc. policies and procedures. Experience
with behavioral-oriented programming.
- Good teaching and communication skills. Strong organizational,
interpersonal, and follow-up skills . License Requirement:
