Must Haves:

• Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience but it is normal for someone to have several years of software engineering experience and only 1-2 of configuration management that is preferred
• Experience with configuration management
• Attention to detail and communication skills Nice to Haves:
  • Scripting languages PERL and Python
  • Experience with tools JIRA, Bitbucket/Git, Confluence, PTC Integrity, Jenkins, Visual Source Safe, Smartbear Collaborator and Scientific Toolwork Understand Job Description:
    • Establish, maintain, and manage source code repositories using tool suites such as PTC integrity & Bitbucket/Git
    • Manage source code and documentation tagging, branching, and merging for multiple projects
    • Generate SW build releases to provide CM controlled versions of SW and FW Configuration Items (CIs)
    • Maintain documentation of Software Configuration Changes by generating/updating CSCI level SW Version Description Documents
    • Maintain CM Process documentation including software configuration management plan and build procedures
    • Develop Scripts and automate processes to improve efficiency of SW builds, integration, release, deployment, and delivery
    • Provide Tool support to developers and project teams. Tools include JIRA, Bitbucket/Git, Confluence, PTC Integrity, Jenkins, Visual Source Safe, Smartbear Collaborator and Scientific Toolwork Understand
    • Collaborate productively with a team and interact efficiently with a variety of Engineering functions from software developers to Project Leads while complying with all company and SCM standards
    • Analyze SCM customer requirements, investigate and implement solutions based on tool knowledge and SCM standard policies
    • Knowledgeable in the standard toolset such as PTC Integrity, Visual Source Safe (VSS), Agile PDM, SmartBear Collaborator, and Scientific Toolwork Understand
    • Working knowledge of Scripting languages PERL and Python
