    • Ensures programs are executing within compliance with product specifications, performance requirements, schedules, cost commitments and internal policies and procedures.
    • Drive and align strategies to SGP and key pursuits/proposals.
    • Monitor IR&Ds and Capital and make sure that activities are meeting objectives
    • Support proposals and strategic activities.--
    • Identifies existing or potential program risks and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
    • Ensures that all required staffing resources are available for programs assigned.
    • Participates in and contributes to internal cost, schedule, and technical reporting requirements.
    • Interacts directly with and fosters an excellent working relationship with Customers (internal and external) to be the connector between various organizations and functions. Essential Functions: The general roles and responsibilities for the Program Manager will minimally include:
      • Qualified applicant will possess excellent project management and leadership skills
      • Provides leadership in the creation and maintenance of robust Customer and Subcontractor relationships. Partners with Business Development, Sales and Marketing functions to nurture productive relations, collect the appropriate market and customer intelligence and formulate strategies in pursuit, sales and marketing campaigns. Leads and facilitates customer interfacing on development and production/sustainment programs.
      • Works with customers and programs to determine needs, requirements, and develops new business opportunities.--
      • Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals; business plans; proposal work statements and specifications; operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
      • Demonstrated leadership capability and the ability to affect organizational change in challenging environments. Must be adept at achieving results through multiple organizational functions without direct authority and through influence and negotiation.
      • A demonstrated capability to think strategically and execute tactically. The successful candidate must be an integrative thinker with a strong foundation in data driven problem solving.
      • Coordinates with chief engineer and functional managers to ensure proper resources are available in a timely manner to execute project Demonstrated listening and influencing skills. Must be able to portray compelling reasons for change as Program/Project priorities dictate.
      • Drives project portfolio execution in order to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue, operation income and cash flow.
      • Must be self-motivated and have a high attention to detail.
      • Strong organizational and time management skills.
      • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
      • Sets the highest ethical standards for self and others.
      • Knowledge of manpower planning, milestone scheduling, financial management and contracts.
      • Proven team player with the ability to work effectively with others.
      • Capable of managing and working in an environment that is fast paced, demanding, with a focus on problem resolution and process improvement.
      • Must be able to support multiple efforts, changing priorities and maintain professional behavior in high-pressure situations.
      • Solid experience with Microsoft Office products to include, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project. Qualifications:
        • Requires a Bachelor's degree and prior Engineering, or another technical field and at least 9 plus years of engineering, program management or operations experience
        • 4+ years managing employees
        • 2+ years of good working knowledge of EVMS
        • 2+ of supporting and leading proposal efforts Preferred Additional Skills:
          • MBA or Masters in Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
          • Ability to communicate in a thorough, clear, and timely manner which supports information sharing and goal achievement
          • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and presentation skills.
          • Strong leadership skills
          • Self-motivated and accountable
          • Ability to develop broad, cooperative relationships with numerous groups and individuals, even when having no direct authority over them.
          • Experience with the Business Acquisition Process while working within an organization handling government contracts
          • Experience with Risk and Change Management
          • Experience leading Cross functional teams and interfacing with customers directly
