Senior Manager/Manager Applied Innovation Strategy Analyst San Mateo Cambridge Ridgefield Park Remote (US) BeiGene continues to grow at a rapid pace with challenging and exciting opportunities for experienced professionals. General Description:-- The Senior Manager/Manager, Applied Innovation Project Management will report directly to the Senior Director, Applied Innovation Strategy and will be a member of the Applied Innovation team, a highly innovative and entrepreneurial unit aimed at driving solutions in healthcare and pharmaceutical R&D through technological advances. The incumbent will be responsible for leading project management in the growing Applied Innovation team. Position will support and optimize project planning, development and execution involving US and International stakeholders. Essential Functions of the job:

  • Key member of the Applied Innovation team who works closely alongside team members to identify, propose, develop and manage projects.
  • Responsible for the planning, tracking and project management of complex technology and operational goals with global stakeholders.
  • Organize and manage cross functional and external stakeholder meetings to coordinate, plan, and execute goals of Applied Innovation.
  • Strategic thinking is required, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
  • Builds partnerships with key stakeholders from other functions to ensure that strategic business goals are met through the sharing of knowledge and expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple tasks to achieve goals and to meet deadlines and stakeholders' expectations.
  • Accountable for their work; shows initiative and leadership, displaying integrity in everything they do, thriving in a team environment, and seeks excellence as the measure of success.
  • Responsible for ensuring clarity when preparing agendas and meeting minutes.
  • Generate concise, high quality reports, visualizations and presentations.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills and attention to detail are required as well as time management and prioritization skills. Qualifications:
    • MUST have prior experience of 5+ years of work in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotech industries.
    • MUST have experience in managing projects and operations involving health information technology in either industry, academia or large hospital systems.
    • MUST have 5+ years of participation in cross-functional project management activities.
    • Proficiency with project management and document management tools including Smartsheets, MSProject and MS Office suite of applications
    • Experience in leading a team of cross-functional individuals across regions.
    • Experience in managing shifts in competing priorities or unforeseen challenges, without compromising quality, attention to detail and timeline deliverables while successfully communicating and working with supervisor, team members and external stakeholders.
    • Strong track record of analysis and fact-based decision-making
    • Strong technology acumen and complex problem-solving skills
    • Highly analytical, with strong data management skills
    • Strategic mindset with high intellectual capability, agility and adaptability
    • Results oriented with a propensity for innovative thinking
