Job Description:
Enjet Aero is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CMM
(Coordinate Measuring Machine) Programmer who will be centrally
involved in maintaining the high standards of quality and precision
that are vital to our core operations. Located at the heart of our
Quality Assurance & Testing department, this role involves direct
engagement with critical machined and fabricated assemblies,
ensuring they meet the rigorous specifications required for turbine
engines in the aerospace and defense industries. Develop and
implement programming routines using CMM software to perform
dimensional and geometrical measurements. Analyze and interpret
manufacturing blueprints, engineering plans, and other documents to
create accurate CMM programming code. Maintain and calibrate CMM
and other measuring instruments to ensure precision and accuracy in
data collection. Collaborate closely with quality engineers and
machining personnel to discuss and resolve issues about product
specifications and quality controls. Prepare detailed inspection
reports and document measurement results, effectively communicating
findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical
stakeholders. Support root cause analysis processes and implement
corrective actions for manufacturing processes. Proficiency with
CMM programming software such as PC-DMIS, Calypso, or MODUS. Strong
understanding of metrology and geometric dimensioning and
tolerancing (GD&T). Ability to read and interpret complex
engineering drawings and technical specifications. Experience in
handling and maintaining high precision measuring equipment. Strong
oral and written communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certification in CMM Programming
and Operation. Certification in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning
and Tolerancing) from a recognized institution.
