Boswell Engineering is seeking all levels of qualified Civil/Environmental Engineers for our SouthHackensack, NJ office to work within our Hydrology and Land Use Permitting Group.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, goal-oriented, and highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will also have familiarity and a strongbackground in drafting software (AutoCAD Civi13d, ArcGIS) and Hydrology/Hydraulic Software (HydroCAD, Hydraflow, and HEC-RAS).
The candidate will utilize these skills to service a wide range of public and private sector clients to design everything from bridges, parks, dams, roadways, and stream restorations formunicipalities we serve to housing developments and warehouses for private sector clients. Primary responsibilities will include hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater managementdesign and reviews, site design, and regulatory permitting (NJDEP, ACOE, SCD).
Due to the nature and complexity of these projects, the work will be done in a collaborative effort with teams specializing in all facets of civil engineering including structural, electrical, traffic,water/wastewater, and site/land development. To promote this collaboration and to allow ouremployees to develop the skillset required to work on such a diverse set of projects, Boswell expects all employees to work in person at our South Hackensack office.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  
  
• 
  Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D
  
  
• 
  Knowledge of Hydrologic and Hydraulic software
  
  
• 
  Familiarity with NJDEP regulations
  
  
• 
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
  
• 
  PE/EIT certification is a plus
