Job DescriptionDESCRIPTIONThe Supplier Quality Assurance
Engineer is responsible for supplier oversight and quality
improvement initiatives related to suppliers of parts installed on
Falcon aircraft in production or in development. PRINCIPAL
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): Follow up on the
technical investigations performed on parts removed in production
or in service by vendors. Coordinate the first article inspections
of new or modified parts at the vendors facilities Reconciliate the
removals of parts removed in the Companies plants (Merignac and
Little Rock) in order to build the quality performance metrics and
prepare the quality reviews to be held at the vendors facilities
Coordinate the airworthiness surveillance audits of US vendors
(onsite or desk audits) Review the quality deliverables to be
provided by the US vendors in the scope of the development of an
equipment or system NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
(NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): participate in the pre-evaluation of the
quality management systems of potential new vendors participate in
Supply Chain evaluations of vendors jointly with the Supply Chain
managers from the purchasing department Other duties may be
assigned by Management in order to meet department or business
objectives on an as-needed basis RequirementsPOSITION
REQUIREMENTSMINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in
Business or Engineering or equivalent professional experience
Previous experience in the aerospace field Knowledge of AS9100
standard Experience with First Article Inspection process and
AS9102 standard Ability to perform objective root cause
investigations and familiarity with associated industry tools (such
as 5S, 8D) Advanced level of proficiency with MS Office, database
management and reporting systems Ability to work well with others
with little direct supervision Ability to work within a team
environment and initiate and facilitate meetings and conferences
Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally) with
suppliers and all company departments worldwide as needed in a
professional and effective manner Ability to perform objective root
cause investigations Ability to read, write and understand French
is desired ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge in Circuit
cards assembly, electronics assembly and IPC-610 standard
Experience with supply chain evaluation methods (SCMH, IPCA)
Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning framework and
Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) Knowledge of equipment
reliability is a plus (HALT/HASS) Knowledge of EASA/FAA part 21
regulations Experience with Industry Quality Monitoring/Improvement
Systems (ISO, Six Sigma, etc.) desired. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:Domestic travel (30% of time)
