This role will be responsible for assisting our production staff by entering and maintaining product data as well as assisting with scheduling, planning and forecasting. This individual will be accountable for assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion. The Industrial Engineer must possess exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills while being results-driven with a keen attention to detail.RequirementsEssential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned) * Assist in planning the sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers.* Document and analyze operational issues.* Document and suggest new processes to be used and for existing & new products.* Assist in performing quality checks.* Provide technical support and training to manufacturing staff out in plant.* Draft manufacturing documentation.* Prepare process flow diagrams.* Document the machines used for each model of windows/doors manufactured including the turn around and hits and coordinate/create catalog for manufacturing use. * Help prepare equipment layouts and make the necessary changes. * Prepare process equipment specifications and data sheets.* Create equipment lists, line lists, and tie-in lists.* Conceptualize, design and process development reports.* Prepare process equipment specifications and data sheets.* Create and distribute project status reports. * Assist in creating equipment lists, line lists, and tie-in lists. * Help prepare lists of required materials, tools, and equipment.Skills* Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree - mechanical engineering or related discipline preferred* 6 months - 3+ years of experience as an Industrial Engineer* Understand manufacturing processes* Communicate and present data effectively* Understand engineering, scientific and other technical information* Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office with an emphasis on Excel* Resolves challenges quickly and efficiently* Constantly applies health and safety practices* Fluency in English, both written and verbal, displaying strong written and oral communicationsBenefitsFull-time position - Salary commensurate with experienceMedical and Dental benefits offered401kEmployee Training
