Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. An opportunity is available for a full-time Special
Education Teacher specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
for an elementary self-contained classroom. This contract role
supports student learning and development in a focused environment,
running from ASAP through June 16, 2026. The position is based
onsite in Bristol, CT, and involves a 35-hour workweek, Monday
through Friday. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized
instruction tailored to elementary students with ASD in a
self-contained classroom setting Develop and implement
Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and assist with behavioral
management plans Collaborate with staff, families, and related
service providers to support student progress Monitor student
performance and adjust teaching methods accordingly Maintain
detailed documentation and comply with all state education
requirements Qualifications & Desired Experience: Active
Connecticut Special Education (SPED) license Proven experience
teaching Kindergarten through 6th grade Background working with
self-contained classrooms and ASD caseloads Strong understanding of
effective strategies for students with ASD Ability to work onsite
full-time in Bristol, CT This position is ideal for candidates
