Job Description Job Description Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team in the Preschool classroom, working with children aged 3-4 yrs. At Mt. Duties Duties include: -assisting children with morning activities including art, story time, gross motor play, table top/fine motor activities, etc. -diapering if applicable -light classroom cleaning (wiping tables, sweeping floors) -keeping children safe and open communication with parents and fellow staff Requirements You must love working with young children! The position is 5 days per week from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm. Nice To Haves Nice to have some experience working with young children. About Us Mountain Lakes Country Day School provides quality care for infants, ages 6 weeks to 18 months;toddlers, ages 18 to 36 months;preschoolers, ages 3 to 4 years, andkindergartners, ages 4 to 6 years. Classrooms are broken down by age group and activities are planned for small groups on the principles of developmentally appropriate practices using The Creative Curriculum by Teaching Strategies.Our center is open all year with limited closings for holidays and staff training.
