Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Local Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – School-Based We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide in-person support at a specialized school in Philadelphia, PA . This position is for maternity leave coverage through June 18 , with potential Extended School Year (ESY) opportunities from July 7 – August 2 . Position Details: Role: SLP or SLPA (School-Based) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:15 PM ESY (if extended): Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 2:15 PM Student Population: Students with unique communication needs in a specialized learning environment Responsibilities: Provide direct speech-language therapy services Collaborate with teachers and support staff to enhance student communication skills Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs Maintain accurate progress documentation and reports in compliance with school and state regulations Qualifications: SLP: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP certification , and state licensure SLPA: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders, plus state licensure Experience in a school-based or specialized setting preferred Knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) is a plus Why Work With RCM?
