Job Summary:The Senior Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the month-end financial closings including account reconciliations, journal entries, preparation of financial package, and additional projects as needed. If you are someone who has exceptional attention to detail, a high level of integrity and dependability, and the ability to prioritize while working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply for our Senior Accountant position!Job Description:Take the lead role in preparing the monthly financial packagePerforms monthly Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliationsReconciles Inventory On-Hand & In-Transit schedules consisting of vendor, freight, customs, & broker bills.Analyze Inventory Excess & Obsolescence (E&O) Reserve, Bad Debt Reserve, & Rebate/commissions true-ups.Prepare journal entries, analyses, account reconciliations, and monthly financial packageRespond to information requests and assisting with financial & 401k auditsAssist with Treasury functions such as coordinating loan payments and estimated tax paymentsComplete margin, variance, trend, & ad hoc analyses.
