Ref ID: 623265Classification: Sr. AccountantCompensation: $50.00 to $75.00 hourlyA client based in East Rutherford, NJ is currently seeking a Reinsurance Accountant to support their accounting team as they undergo a system implementation. The Reinsurance Accountant will provide backup to the existing staff, and be directly involved with contract uploads, documenting processes, reinsurance calculations, reinsurance ceding, calculating and booking premiums, and processing cash. Familiarity with statutory and GAAP accounting is required. Prior experience working in software such as Freedom Reinsurance and/or Reinsurance Pro is strongly desired.
